Certification Preparation
TEF, TCF, DELF and DALF

Structured online coaching for
speaking, writing, mock exams and personalized feedback.

Preparing for a French language certification is not the same as taking general French lessons. You need to understand the format, manage your time, structure your answers, use precise vocabulary and perform under test conditions.

As a certified TEF, TCF, DELF and DALF teacher, I help candidates understand what examiners expect and how to improve their performance. My work focuses especially on speaking, writing, mock tasks, correction and detailed feedback.

Whether you are preparing for TEF Canada, TCF Canada, DELF B1 / B2 or DALF C1, the goal is not only to “know French”, but to know how to use your French effectively in an exam situation.

What we can work on

In exam preparation lessons, we can focus on:

Speaking practice
We work on fluency, pronunciation, interaction, argumentation, structure and the ability to answer under time and test pressure.

Writing correction
You can send written productions and receive detailed feedback on grammar, vocabulary, structure, register, clarity and exam expectations.

Mock exam tasks
We practise realistic exam-style tasks so that you become familiar with the format and learn how to manage your answers.

Exam strategy
You learn how to organize your ideas, avoid common mistakes, respect the instructions and improve the quality of your performance.

Grammar and vocabulary in context
We review grammar and vocabulary through your actual mistakes and through the type of language you need for the exam.

Exams covered

I prepare learners for:

TEF / TEF Canada
Speaking and writing practice, role-play, argumentation, structure, clarity and interaction.

TCF / TCF Canada
Oral and written production, exam strategy, clear answers, structured expression and correction.

DELF B1 / DELF B2
Speaking, writing, comprehension strategies, argumentation, opinion, interaction and task structure.

DALF C1
Advanced writing, oral presentation, argumentation, synthesis, nuance, register and intellectual precision.

Why exam preparation requires a specific method

Many learners have a good level of French but lose points because they do not fully understand the exam expectations. They may speak too generally, write without enough structure, miss the purpose of the task, or fail to develop their arguments clearly.

My role is to help you identify what is costing you points and give you concrete tools to improve. We work not only on language accuracy, but also on method, clarity, organization and confidence.

How lessons work

Lessons are online and adapted to your level, exam, deadline and objectives.

Depending on your needs, we can combine live lessons, mock tasks, written correction, speaking practice and independent work between sessions. I often use elements of the flipped classroom approach: you may prepare a task before the lesson, so that lesson time can be used for feedback, correction, interaction and deeper work.

The main language of instruction is French. When clarification is useful, I can also use English, Spanish, Italian or Dutch.
